The town of Crikvenica is located in western Croatia, more precisely in the Kvarner Bay, while administratively it belongs to the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and consists of four settlements: Crikvenica, Dramalj, Jadranovo and Selce. 

Crikvenica is located on the Croatian coast, more precisely on the northern Adriatic, known as Kvarner.
It is located only 35 kilometers from the city of Rijeka, the center of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and borders the city of Kraljevica, Vinodol municipality and the city of Novi Vinodolski.
As such, it is considered an ideal traffic hub of Central Europe, and in addition to road, Crikvenica can be easily reached by sea or air. Namely, Rijeka Airport is 21 km away from Crikvenica, while Pula Airport is 139 km away.

Sailors and other fans of the sea and boats find their boat berth in the city port of Crikvenica. The Crikvenica-Vinodol Riviera is also adorned with many smaller ports for your boats, as well as business entities that offer dry and winter berth services. In Novi Vinodolski 10 km south, there are two marinas, Marina Novi and Mitan Marina.

The Main City Beach in Crikvenica is completely adapted for people with disabilities, while animal lovers can also be satisfied because Crikvenica has a beach for pets, which is located next to the top of the breakwater of the port Podvorska in the center of Crikvenica.
